NAOSHI

Using shiny colorful sand, Noashi makes art portraying surreal people living in a real world with various everyday
thoughts and emotions, such as joy, happiness, sorrow, and anxiety.

Naoshi was born in 1979 in Kanagawa, Japan. She has been participating in a wide range of art projects/exhibits
outside of Japan, including United States, Italy, France, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Korea. Recent solo and group

Naoshi lives and works in Kanagawa, Japan.
